As part of the continuing development of promoting the use of simulation in mental health settings Health Education Yorkshire and Humber have funded a video to promote the RAMPPS (Recognising and Assessing Medical Problems in Psychiatric Settings) simulation course. This multi professional course is now being delivered in a number of quality assured clinical skills and simulation centres across our region.  You can view the RAMPPS Video  here.

With the support of our HEYH Regional Clinical Skills Advisors and School of Psychiatry Leadership Fellows RAMPPS is developing into new areas of psychiatric specialty settings such as Forensic medicine and Children’s and Adolescent Mental Health settings.

The RAMPPS work has recently been presented at the European Festival of Psychiatric Nursing and an article in the Health Informatics Journal explaining how RAMPPS meets the Technology Enhanced Learning agenda can be viewed here the RAMPPS course
